WELCOME TO OUR FIRST EVER LEADER REtreat!

In the past, this week has always been dedicated to training up Small Group Leaders or "Residents" who lived in our houses (when we owned them from like 1970-2017). But this year is different. For the first time ever, we are setting aside this week to train up, connect with, and "do life" with students that we feel are ready and primed to have the greatest impact on the campus for the Kingdom of God (not necessarily ones that will lead any particular facet of our ministry this year)! You are one of those few that we have selected and we could not be more excited to spend that week with you and serve alongside you this year! There are a ton of stuff we will talk about once we are at the retreat, but in the meantime, here is what you need to know right now:

  • The Small Group Leaders retreat will be at Blue Horizon (where we go for Beach Trip. Address is 19016 Front Beach Rd, Panama City Beach, FL 32413). 
  • We will leave Tallahassee at 10am the morning of August 8 from my house which is located at 1116 Winifred Dr. (if you will need a ride to my house that morning, you will need to start arranging that now). 
  • We will return to Tallahassee August 12 at around 3pm or so.
  • All of your travel, lodging, and food is covered by CCF. We might go to Pier Park one night (an outdoor mall) so prepare some spending money if you want to shop there.
  • You will be given a schedule for the week once we arrive. 
  • We have rented a 12 passenger van in order to transport all of us over to the Beach as well as a small van to transport all of our bags. If this is not ok with you, for one reason or another you need to let me know NOW so we can make other arrangements.
  • You must complete a waiver, in its entirety before you attend this week long event. The waiver can be found below. You will not be allowed to attend without completing one. We will literally not leave my house Monday 8/8 until you fill it out.
  • The packing list is identical Beach Trip and we are at the same venue as Beach Trip just for longer periods of time so take all of that into consideration.
